Description

Many OEM’s are predicting that fully Autonomous Vehicles will be hitting the Market in two to four years. How will this impact other products such as those in the kitchen? Years ago science fiction writers pictured vehicles being driven by androids, but this is not how vehicles are becoming autonomous. Instead sensors, actuators, communications, and emerging complex computation systems are being added to make vehicles autonomous. Automated Kitchens have dramatic advantages over Automated Vehicles, if they are implemented in a similar fashion. These advantages include: 1) an existing large database of partial mechanical solutions, 2) full control of environment and lighting, and 3) a continuous flow of purchases by consumers for the renewal of kitchen environment components.
